Ayers House is a bluestone house on North Terrace, built in 1846. Your ceremony, your photographs and your dinner all happen here, in one room or in two.
Prices
Our packages are easy to understand, with no hidden costs. Each one includes canapes as your guests arrive, a three-course menu and a five-hour drinks package.
Set menu: you choose one dish for each course, and everyone is served the same. Choice menu: your guests choose on the day, from two or three dishes per course.

Our grandest room, hosting balls and parties since 1870: chandelier, bay window and moulded plaster ceiling.

A photographer's dream: the north-facing mansion, its front steps and arches make your day picture perfect, with our gardens and the Botanic Garden across North Terrace a minute away.
Smaller weddings
The Elopement is a set price of $2,000, Monday to Saturday, for up to ten people in the Library. The Micro Wedding seats up to twenty-four across the Library and the Ballroom. Same kitchen, same event manager, a fraction of the guest list.
Your event manager
Your event manager helps you plan your menu, timings and run sheet, recommends suppliers we trust, and is here on the day to look after your suppliers and set-up.
We know many of Adelaide’s florists, photographers, stylists and bands, and can recommend the ones we work with often. You book your own celebrant, suppliers and styling, and we help put together your run sheet so everyone knows when to arrive.
Our team looks after your suppliers and set-up, and is on hand all night, so you and your family can relax and enjoy it.
Before you get in touch
Saturdays in the Conservatory go furthest out, often more than a year. Almost everything else has far more availability than couples assume, and the weekday and winter dates are both cheaper and easier to get. Send us your date before you settle on it and we will let you know by the next business day at the latest whether it is free.
Yes, for florists, photographers, stylists, bands, DJs and celebrants, and we will manage them on the day, whether you found them or we recommended them. Food and drink are the exception: those are ours.
Final numbers are confirmed 10 days before your wedding, and that is the number you pay on. If a few more guests say yes after that, let us know and we will do our best to fit them in.
The tram stops outside, there is street and station parking nearby, and a dozen hotels within ten minutes on foot for interstate guests. The Conservatory, the courtyard and the ground floor are accessible; Ayers House dates from 1846, so tell us what you need and we will walk the actual route your guests will take. Every course on the menu already has vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options on it rather than treating them as an afterthought.
